Whenever something new is going on at D.B. Productions, this page will be updated to let you know.
In addition, there will be a link under the NEW SITE ADDITIONS area on the main page with it's own unique graphic taking you to its mention here on this page.
06/22/07 - For the past couple of months I've been working on another short film. This happens to be the first one I've talked about on the D.B. Productions updates page. It's called "Run Theft", written, and directed by Mike Land. I was director of photography, co-prodcer, and editor. Recently, Mike was interviewed on 885 Underground, a show on WXPN. An Mp3 of the interview has been posted online which you can listen to by clicking the 885 Underground image. The trailer is avaialble on the media page.
12/28/06 - Free shipping of DVD's and VHS tapes. In the past, I asked that clients come to me to pick up their videos. While that is still an option, it is no longer the default option. Starting today, all videos (up to a certain amount) will be mailed to you unless you request otherwise. And there is no extra charge for this.
11/28/06 - Posted tonight is a new wireless mic example video. The nice thing about this example is that you can hear what three different people sound like, standing at three different positions around the same microphone. You can also see near the end of the clip how far back the camera was, while still being able to receive the mic's audio. As an important note, I had purposely cut out portions of the audio where the names of the individuals are spoken. This was to protect their identities. Just understand that the audio drop outs are NOT from the microphones, and all the audio can be heard on the actual DVDs given to the client.
11/27/06 - I now offer iPod video versions of all videos! If you need to take some, or all of your video project on the go, and you happen to have a video iPod, I can create the video files that can play on it. If you need anything put to your iPod, just contact me!
11/23/06 - You may have noticed a few links not working. Rest assure that I am aware of the issues and am working to fix them soon. If you have any questions about the links or anything else on the site, you are always free to contact me via the contact page. (Yes, those links work.)
11/03/06 - News from the packages department. I am now offering DVD menus across the board, no matter what package you choose (unless you specifically don't want a menu.) Menus for wedding videos, corporate and private videos, and everything in between. Also, I have done away with the super slim DVD cases. All DVD cases are now standard size (same kind you buy at the store, see an example here.)
11/02/06 - Another look to the site. Once again I'm trying to make navigation easier for everyone, and make updating the page more easy as well.
11/02/06 - Do you like the trailers of weddings you see on this site? Want to have them on your next wedding DVD? Well now you can, as an added optional feature for all future wedding videos. Don't worry, the dbprod.biz watermark will NOT be included. ;) The option will be available on your DVD's main menu. I'm sure there will be times where you want to browse your video again, or just wish to show some highlights to family and friends. The trailer option is a great inclusion as a way to see all the highlights of your night set to music and have it all come in under 7 minutes!
11/01/06 - I do not usually place updates about things that haven't appeared on the page yet, but I thought this was cool enough to mention early. I've gotten the code for a really simple flash video player. I tried offering my videos in flash format a few months ago but it was really just a trial and error attempt which ended poorly. This new player is much easier to work with, much faster to update, and must easier to customize. You can see an in-progress version here: new flash video player (Link removed now that the players are online). Don't worry, the colors won't be yellow - it was just my attempt at changing the default color (gray) to something else.
